Olympic gold medalist and sprinter, Usain Bolt Monday said he has not received his COVID-19 test result, even though the news that he has tested positive for the virus has circulated the social media.

Bolt, in a video, posted on his verified Twitter handle, on Monday, said he took the COVID-19 test on Saturday and had yet to receive the official doctor report.

The claim came few days after the sprinter  hosted a birthday party, which was attended by some football stars, in Jamaica.

The Jamaican star said he has no COVID-19 symptoms and he is currently on self-isolation.

In the video, the sprinter said, “I woke up like everybody else, checked social media, and saw where it was saying that I am confirmed to have COVID-19. I am still awaiting confirmation from doctors so as to know the protocols.

“I have no symptoms but I will be keeping away from everyone. I urge you to keep safe.”
