#RohrOut: Nigerians Want Technical Adviser Sacked!

The match between the Super Eagles of Nigerian and the Leone stars of Sierra Leone which ended in a 4-4 draw has sparked social media reactions.

GWG writes that a brace from Alex Iwobi and goals from Victor Osimhen and Chukwueze put the three times African champions ahead in the first hasf which ended 4-1.

However, the Leone Stars with a renewed zeal and backed with superior technical input from the bench, came back in the second half scoring three goals to secure a draw in the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

Many Nigerians were displeased with this development as many football pundits had earlier kicked against handing Gernot Rohr a new contract on the basis of his technical incapacity. Many took to the micro-blogging platform calling for the sack of coach Gernot Rohr as they blamed him for the loss.

Also, some were dissatisfied that the training sessions of the Super Eagles were disturbed by the Sports Minister, Sunday Dare and other sports officials who joined the team in training.

GWG had earlier reported that the deputy governor of Edo State, Phillip Shuaibu, trained with the team.

Reacting to Friday’s match, many took to Twitter to react. See some reactions below:
