Popular Nigerian Movie, Music Producer, Agboola Is Dead

Kunle Agboola, a renowned producer in Nigeria’s entertainment industry has passed away at the age of 53.

Announcement of Agboola demise is contained in a statement signed and issued by Lanre Agboola on behalf of the family.

Agboola is widely respected in Nigeria’s movie and music industry for his excellent work with different artistes and actors.

He was the producer of popular Yoruba programme, Idan Irawo. The Nollywood-themed show ran for several years on DSTV.

He produced and mastered songs for music giants including Daddy Showkey, Tope Alabi, Sunny Neji, among others.

Kunle gave up the ghost after a hard-fought battle with kidney disease. he died at the intensive care unit of the NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

The deceased was the Sound Engineer and Media Officer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), ICB Parish in Brooklyn.

He is survived by aged parents, wife, children and siblings. The family will announce the burial arrangements soon.
