N80b Fraud At AGF Office: “No Wonder Everyone Wants To Be President”- Peter Okoye
Nigerian musician and dancer, Peter Okoye popularly known as Mr P has taken to his social media page to react to the recent arrest of the Accountant General of the Federation, AGF, Ahmed Idris who was arrested over N80b fraud by the EFCC.
The singer alleged that the free access to public funds by government appointees is the reason why everyone is desperately seeking to become president.
Recall that the Minister of Finance budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed had announced the suspension of Ahmed Idris.

His suspension came after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arrested him for allegedly diverting funds and laundering N80billion.
Reacting to the fraud report at the AGF office, Peter Okoye expressed shock that just one man can divert such huge amount of money while appealing to Nigerian leaders to have conscience.
According to him, if one person appointed by the president can steal such amount, he cannot help but conclude that siphoning of public funds seems to be the reason everyone is contesting to be the next President of Nigeria.
The 40-year-old musician said this via his Twitter page
His tweet read: “Just one that was appointed by the President looted 80 billion! Ahhhh! No wonder everybody wants to be the PRESIDENT of Nigeria!
“Chisus! 80 Billion! Abeg make una dey try get conscience na!”
Meanwhile, popular Instagram celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared his intention to join Nigerian students in protesting against the lingering strike of the Academic Staff Union Of Universities Strike ASUU.
The celebrity barman took to his Instagram page to share videos of himself in the streets urging students to hold peaceful protests so he can participate.
