Drama As Benue Corpers Protest After NYSC Official Slapped Corper

There have been reports of heightened tension in Benue State as corp members of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC  expressed their anger after an official got physical with one of them.

According to a video making rounds on social media corps members were captured in confrontation with the NYSC officials after the abuse inflicted on one of them.

The graduates who are undergoing the one-year compulsory service at Benue orientation camp condemned the official for slapping one of them.

“How you go slap corper,” a fellow yelled at length while condemning the official for getting physical with a corps member involved in the NYSC scheme in Benue said.

Meanwhile, Scores of children numbering over 50 were allegedly found in an underground apartment of a church building in the Valentino Area of Ondo town, Ondo State, on Friday evening.

It was gathered that the children were allegedly kidnapped and kept in the underground apartment of the church.

A source said victims were over 50 while the police had rescued them and arrested the pastor and some members of the church.

In a viral video, the children were seen in a patrol vehicle of the police who took them to the police station.
