Lagos Teacher, Boyfriend, Arrested For Burning Daughter’s Buttocks

The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Margret Obano, a 22-year-old primary school teacher, for allegedly brutalizing and burning her two-year-old daughter’s buttocks.

GWG.NG gathered that the incident occurred on Friday, October 14, 2022, in the Bariga area of the state.

According to an Instagram platform, Instablog9ja, who spoke with a resident, the woman lived at her boyfriend’s mother’s house.

“She is fond of maltreating and abusing the child for no reason,” said the resident, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. She beat up the little child on Friday and placed her bum bum on an electric cooking hot plate.

“She works at a local school in Bariga that is owned by her boyfriend’s mother, so she lives with both the boyfriend and his mother.”

“The child’s father is nowhere to be found.” When she gave birth, he denied the child, the child was severely burned and is in excruciating pain,” the source disclosed.

The arrest of the woman and her companion was confirmed by the state police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin.

“They have been arrested and detained at the Bariga Police Station and her daughter has been hospitalised,” he added.

The primary school teacher and her boyfriend were arrested for burning her daughter’s buttocks.
