Delta Central: More Than 7,000 Persons Working For Me – Dafinone Brags
Mr Ede Dafinone, the Delta Central Senatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has inaugurated his campaign committee for the 2023 general elections.
Unveiling the campaign committee on Wednesday in Ughelli Town, Dafinone urged no fewer than seven thousand committee members to work for all the APC candidates to enable them to emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections.
“Our campaign structure has engaged over seven thousands people and we have not finished yet.
“The central management team has over 200 people, the local government campaign team has over 50 persons.
“The wards campaign teams are being managed by over 400 people, while the unit campaign team has over 6,540 people.
“We recognise that the election will be won at the units. I expect all my campaign teams to work for the victory of the party for all positions.
“APC has become a formidable party, positioned to take over Delta in 2023,” Dafinone said.
He commended Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege and the APC founding father in Delta, Olorogun O’tega Emerho, for their efforts in unifying the party and making it stronger in the state.
Among the committee members were: Mr Adelabu Bodjor (Director-General); Kevwe Agbroko (Deputy Director); Mrs Stella Okotete (Chief Advisers); Mrs Veronica Ogbuagu; Dr Rufus Ebegba; Dr Otive Igbuzor; Mr Francis Waive; Halims Agoda, among others others.
Dafinone also named Sen Ovie Omo-Agege and Omeni Sobotie (Chairman and Co-chairman) respectively of the APC STATE CAMPAIGN COUNCIL (DELTA CENTRAL).
While Festus Keyamo (SAN); Paulinus Akpeki; Olorogun Otega Emerhor would serve as Vice-Chairmen, Dr Wilson Omene, Abel Idigu, Digbame Ubu, Amb. Respect Iwhiwhu, and Axel Umukoro would served as spokespersons.
The campaign committee also has Mr Onomigbo Okpoko (SAN); Godwin Ogbetuo and Frank Kokori as Patrons.
Also at the event, Waive, member representing Ughelli Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, urged Urhobos to vote for a competent representation.
In his remarks, the Chairman, APC in Delta Central, Akpeki, enjoined people of Delta to vote rightly, assuring them that APC would take over the state in 2023. (NAN)
