Adeboye Bags Eighth Honorary Doctorate (PHOTOS)

Pastor Enoch Adeboye the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG has been conferred with a honorary doctorate degree by a university in the United States.

The honorary doctorate is Adeboye’s eighth.

President of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States, William Wilson presented the award to Adeboye on Thursday night during the fourth day of the church’s 2022 Holy Ghost Congress tagged ‘Double Portion.’

The Congress is being held at the Redemption Camp ground in Ogun State.

Adeboye said in an Instagram post on Friday morning that he dodged going to the US to collect the degree and did not know it would be brought to him in Nigeria.

Recently, Mountain Top University named the general overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Daniel Olukoya, a professor of biotechnology.

The appointment of Olukoya, who is also the university’s chancellor, was a result of the positive consideration shown by a relevant review by the council and the assessments of his publications by some of the world’s best scholars in biotechnology, the university said in a statement.
