Atiku Accuses Tinubu Of Putting Frustration Of US ‘Visa Denial’ On Journalists

The Atiku Abubakar campaign has accused the Bola Tinubu presidential campaign of carrying the frustration from the alleged denial of a US visa to the APC presidential candidate to the media and unleashing war on the Arise News/Thisday media outfits of Mr Nduka Obaigbena.

The allegation came as the war between the Tinubu Campaign and the Arise News/Thisday media group worsened on Tuesday after the pair of Dele Alake and Bayo Onanuga, who are both aides of the APC presidential candidate accused Obaigbena of unethical professional conduct over the years.

GWG.ng reports that the Tinubu Campaign which had earlier been reported to have demanded the sack of Arise News anchor, Rufai Oseni and Thisday editor, Shaka Momodu, however, did not point to any professional or ethical misconduct by either men in the tweets.

Following the release of the tweets which did not raise any substantial new allegations against Obaigbena, Atiku spokesman, Daniel Bwala in his interjection alleged that the APC presidential candidate was throwing its frustration over the alleged US visa denial on the media.

He tweeted thus:

Reacting to the claim by the Atiku aide that the frustration from the alleged US visa denial may have beclouded the Tinubu Campaign, supporters and critics of the two candidates expressed their thoughts on the development .
