The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  has denied media reports that  its Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar was flown to London, over health challenges.

Sen Dino Melaye, the spokesperson and Director, Public Affairs, PDP Presidential Campaign Management Committee made the clarification on Atiku’s health in a statement in Abuja.

“Disregard the lies of unrepentant liars. Atiku is 100 per cent fit and in super form health wise.

“The British Government invited the leading presidential candidate, Abubakar, just like they had invited Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi earlier,” Dino said.

Some media reports had stated that Atiku, the PDP presidential candidate was sick and flown from Dubai, United Arab Emirates to London, United Kingdom for treatment on account of health challenges. (NAN)

Meanwhile, Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi has rebuffed claims of stinginess thrown at him by his APC rival, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu challenging him to talk on issues against the growth of the country, particularly on corruption.

Giving his closing remarks at the Channels Television townhall on Sunday evening, Obi said he had used his position as governor of Anambra State to elevate the state’s development status and could take pride in such and not on the banter of being stingy or not.

GWG.ng reports that Tinubu had at a rally in Akure, Ondo State at the weekend dismissed his major rivals Obi as being too stingy and Atiku Abubakar of the PDP as Mr Privatise.
