Actress Angela Okorie In Agony Over Sending Son To School Abroad
Nollywood actress and singer, Angela Okorie, recently opened up about her hesitation to send her son to school abroad due to concerns about the curriculum being taught to children.
The Legit crooner expressed her concerns during The Honest Bunch podcast.
The actress expressed worry about what she believes are some of the controversial subjects being taught in schools abroad.
According to Angela Okorie, the main reason why she is hesitant to send her son abroad for schooling is due to what she believes are inappropriate topics being taught in foreign schools, particularly around the topic of homosexuality.
In her words, “they tell them that as a guy, you can actually live like a girl and even change your private parts. They are teaching them a lot of things that I don’t want my son to learn and don’t want my son to be”.
The Nollywood actress went further to express her concerns about the impact of these teachings on the younger generation, particularly on their values and beliefs.
She said that she does not want her son to be influenced by these ideas and wants him to grow up with a different set of values.
