Atiku’s Aide Under Fire After Mocking Buhari’s Relocation To London

Media aide to Atiku Abubakar has received mixed reactions to his mockery of President Muhammadu Buhari over the claim that he relocated from Daura to London to avoid the throng of visitors coming to visit him in his hometown.

GWG.ng reports that Buhari was quoted by Garba Shehu, his erstwhile media aide of saying that he had not been able to receive the quiet retirement he desired in Daura as a result of the continued visits from friends and family hence the decision to relocate to London.

Shehu also quoted Buhari as saying that he was not covering any official that served under him from the probing eyes of the Bola Tinubu administration.

However, responding on Friday on his twitter handle, Bwala who was a steadfast associate of Buhari’s until he jumped ship just after Tinubu emerged as presidential candidate, Bwala tweeted:

So you spent 8yrs defending a waste because last time I checked you weren’t at variance with the APC until you secretly jumped ship at the middle of the night under the pretentious guise of Muslim Muslim ticket while you fully supported a North-  North continuation ticket .

My problem with Buhari is that he doesn’t talk like a general who has seen it all. The good, the bad and the ugly. Who are those that decided that the north should vote for Buhari?

GWG.ng reports that Bwala became an aide to Atiku after he defected from the APC in the dust that followed the Muslim-Muslim ticket the party adopted and before then he had been a steadfast defender of the Buhari government and hence the angst against his stance on the former president’s relocation to London.
