Sani Describes Kaduna as same situation with Isaiah 49:26

Speaking against the background of the recent drone attack on innocent citizens of Igabi in Kaduna State, former federal lawmaker and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has accused the former governor of the state, Nasir El-rufai of doing nothing and allowing the situation to fester.

According to him, El-Rufai took no effective measures to address the insecurity situation in the state. Urging swift federal intervention against terrorism, Sani expressed his concerns while appearing on Trust TV’s ‘Daily Politics’ programme.

Highlighting the persistent kidnapping crisis in Kaduna, Sani pointed out incidents at Greenfield University, Bethel Baptist School in Kajuru, and the College of Agric and Mechanisation. He lamented the lack of action by the former governor and called for urgent federal assistance to combat terrorism.

Sani stressed the crucial role of public cooperation in fighting terrorism, stating that the military and state security require the support, solidarity, and intelligence information from the masses. Proposing a stern approach, he advocated for no mercy towards terrorist kingpins and financiers.

Recalling his visit to Bethel Baptist High School after a kidnapping incident, Sani disclosed how desperate parents raised over N280 million to pay ransom, with no substantial response from the Kaduna state government. He questioned the funding sources behind the terrorists and urged the government to target the financiers, sponsors, and beneficiaries to bring an end to abductions.
