Mummy Zee

In a time when true love is difficult to find and feminism is at its peak, a young beautiful wife identified as Mummy Zee on her X handle and popularly called Debbie,  has risen to defy the norm and reveal the true beauty of a loving marriage in how she esteems her husband by waking up 4:50 am to prepare her husband’s lunch pack.

Amidst several criticisms, Debbie’s show of reverence and love for her husband has since poured in several material and cash gifts from Nigerians who didn’t hesitate to applaud and reward her act.

Today, many are wishing to share in the “seemingly sudden” blessings of Mummy Zee, some are seriously tapping and wishing that all the goodies of Mummy Zee will also come to them but it’s important to note that she had an antecedent as “Rome was not built in a day”.

Mummy Zee got married to her husband when he was starting out quite small. In her X post, she said, ” When we got married, people thought we were crazy. I married him in his one room in a shared apartment. He put those minion & hello kitty stickers on the wall because I told him I liked them on our first date and he wanted me to be “comfortable “.

Not many ladies will indeed take that route in this generation. Honourable Patrick Ohiagbon described the contrast in his heavily woven X-post, ” These days, many ladies are materialistic, conceited, brazenly immoral, imprudent, mentally infantile, maliciously manipulative, abrasively argumentative, atrociously belligerent,  obstreperous and recalcitrant.”

Mummy Zee and her husband have become famous today because of an X post where she revealed that an event in her husband’s office triggered her to begin to wake up at 04:50 am to cook lunch for her husband. She said: “I’ve always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he’ll eat with her, was the day I set my alarm for 4:50am.”

The calm manner in which she handled the matter with much reverence and sacrifice; without raising much dust, is what has won the hearts of many Nigerians to her.

Ms Madisa, a feminist who highlighted Mummy Zee’s post reacted,

“Apparently I’m a feminist and I was being shady ??

She said she had been greatly touched and inspired by Mummy Zee’s post saying, ” I love her and I think given the right platform, I’d be that kind of wife”.

Michael Taiwo reacted, “Let draggers drag. You are a very smart woman. I doubt your husband even said it to threaten you but just telling you what’s going on at work. But as a sharp lady, you read the situation and took action. Well done.”

Solomon Buchi, a life coach, writer and speaker,  brought an interpretation and balance in his reaction to Debbie’s post,

“As we clap for Debbie, I honestly hope that every man wouldn’t go back to demand that their wives cook for them by 5am. The central theme is to be kind, and the fair expression of that kindness is peculiar to every marriage. Your wife who has a hectic 9-5 might not be able to consistently cook before dawn.

“Your wife who’s not a morning person might not be able to wake up to cook by 5am. Don’t use Debbie’s act of service as a standard for your wife. It’s important to state, because some men are dense, and will taunt their wives with Debbie’s example. Know how your wife communicates her love and regard for you, and focus on that.

“My wife isn’t waking up by 5am to cook for me lmao! At least not yet, but she does really regard me. It’s not about the sameness of examples, but similar values. Every marriage is different in this regard.”

Mummy Zee has received millions of naira, a fully funded scholarship in the UK, choiced furniture, freezer, window blind, website, Air conditioner, Smart flatscreen TV, phones, #200,00 worth of fuel from NNPC, car offer, 3 bedroom house offer,  choiced generator, free web designing classes, data analysis classes and over, free antenatal care Finnih Medical Care, a full year health insurance payment by Doctor Aproko, provision and food supply, a full year supply of diaper and many more mouth watering gifts/offers which can be viewed on her X handle,  “@_Debbie_OA”.

Again, one beautiful thing to note about Mummy Zee is her show of integrity.

An X handle with the name “Incredible Loner” offered:

Good Evening Debbie, I am willing to give you this generator, you and your man deserve everything that’s coming your way.

happy new year ❤️

She reacted,

“Someone gave us 250k for gen already. We’ll go buy the gen when we’re ready.  🥺

An X User, Gracie_oguns hilariously
