DJ Cuppy Says She Regrets Engagement To Fiancé Ryan Taylor

Popular Nigerian DJ disc jockey, Florence Otedola known as DJ Cuppy has said she had one of the worst years of her life last year because she didn’t say “No” often.

She said she particularlyregretted not saying “No” to her estranged fiance, Ryan Taylor.

Speaking at a recent function abroad, DJ Cuppy said she had now realised that it’s okay to say “No.”

She said, “One of the things I have learned is saying no. I had one of the worst years of my life last year because I couldn’t say no. I didn’t say no to opportunities that I should have said no to. I didn’t say no to a fiancé I should’ve said no to. I didn’t say no to taking things on.

“I was at the BBC; I had a morning breakfast show, then I was DJing, i was planning a wedding, I was in Oxford University. I burnt myself out. And none of us are either good to ourselves or other people when we burnt out. So, we have to deal with that guilt that comes with saying no. It’s okay to say no.”

Recall that Cuppy and Ryan parted ways in July 2023 barely seven months after their shocking engagement in November 2022.
