Man Survives Acid Attack Orchestrated by Former Girlfriend (Video)

Augustine Kofi Poku, a Ghanaian man, has survived a harrowing acid attack allegedly orchestrated by his former girlfriend. The ordeal unfolded amidst a tumultuous relationship that spanned back to 2016, during which Augustine provided financial support to his ex-partner.

However, as the relationship progressed, Augustine found himself trapped in a web of control and possessiveness. His ex-girlfriend’s behavior escalated to the point where she reportedly hid his passport in a bid to prevent him from leaving the country.

In a shocking development, Augustine became the victim of a brutal acid attack, allegedly orchestrated by his former partner. The assailant, carried out the attack just days before Augustine’s planned departure, leaving him hospitalized for nearly three months.

Despite the agony of his injuries, Augustine displayed remarkable courage by identifying his attacker to the authorities. He recognized his ex-girlfriend’s voice during the assault and provided crucial information to the police, leading to the assailant’s arrest, conviction, and subsequent sentencing to 10 years in prison.

In a TikTok video, Augustine expressed regret over his past and lamented the inability to undo his mistakes.
