Zack Orji Hails Tinubu Family, Friends As He Recounts Near-Death Experience (Video)

Nigerian film actor Zack Orji has opened up about his terrifying near-death experience, revealing the details of his ordeal and expressing gratitude to those who supported him through the difficult time.

Recall that the 63-year-old veteran actor was rushed to an Abuja hospital’s intensive care unit on December 31, 2023, after he slumped in his bathroom and was knocked unconscious. He underwent two brain surgeries and spent several hours in a coma- GWG.ng reports.

Orji recounted his harrowing experience, saying: “I was out for about five and a half hours before help came. I was incoherent and couldn’t even stand. My friends Benedict Johnson and Bala Ahmed were instrumental in getting me to the hospital, and my wife flew in from Lagos to be by my side.”

He expressed his gratitude to God and the many people who supported him, including the President of Nigeria, the First Lady, the Vice President’s wife, and the President’s son. “I’m alive today by God’s exceeding great mercy through the people he used to assist me,” he said.

Orji’s near-death experience has left him with a newfound appreciation for life, and he’s grateful to be strong, healthy, and of sound mind. “It’s not my time yet,” he said, acknowledging the grace of God in his life.
