Obi Cubana, Davido, Mercy Eke React As Cubana Chiefpriest Shares Ordeal With EFCC
Nigerian businessman Obi Cubana has spoken out about his friend Cubana Chief Priest’s recent ordeal with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). GWG.ng reports that Cubana Chief Priest is set to settle out of court with the commission, with the court scheduled to hear the settlement report on June 5, 2024.
Cubana Chief Priest admitted that the experience has been challenging, stating that “problem no dey good” and warning Nigerians to avoid EFCC troubles. “Settling with them is no joke; no one would love to pass through the kind of stress I’m going through,” he added.
Obi Cubana, who has had a similar experience with the EFCC, shared a personal anecdote in the comment section. “From Vaniti to court! Kai, ndi a ma ka e si e stress mmadu walahi” (From Vanity to court! The stress is too much), he said, with Cubana Chief Priest responding with laughing emojis.

Recalled that Cubana Chief Priest was arraigned by the EFCC in April on charges of naira mutilation and other offenses. He pleaded not guilty and was granted a N10 million bail. After his release, he shared a photo of himself and thanked those who had checked on him, boasting about his fame and wealth.
