Controversial actor Yul Edochie has announced his decision to forgive his late colleague, Junior Pope, despite previously revealing that Junior Pope had betrayed him multiple times.

This development comes just a day after Yul Edochie sparked an online frenzy by sharing his painful experience with Junior Pope, whom he said he had considered a brother.

In a new post, Yul Edochie revealed that he has chosen to forgive Junior Pope, acknowledging that the world is filled with imperfect humans.

He expressed his hurt and disappointment at being betrayed by someone he loved and trusted but emphasized the importance of forgiveness. He wrote, “I forgive him completely… To err is human, but to forgive is divine. I forgive him and wish his family the very best.”

Yul Edochie also took the opportunity to address his Nollywood colleagues and the wider community, urging them to embrace love, unity, and support for one another.

He cautioned against trying to bring others down, stating, “You gain nothing by trying to bring another person down. The sky is big enough for all of us to fly.” He encouraged people to offer help and support when they see others struggling, rather than adding to their pain.
