Just In: Yahaya Bello Wants EFCC’s Case Against Him Moved To Kogi

The immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has sought the transfer of his alleged fraud case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to be transferred to Kogi.

Recall that Bello has been in a running battle with the EFCC over moves by the commission to try him over alleged mismanagement of the funds of the state during his tenure as Governor.

Bello has requested that since he was alleged to have committed the offence when he was governor of Kogi State, that it was proper for the case to be held in Kogi State.
