Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has written a touching tribute to veteran actor Olu Jacobs, following the circulation of false death rumors about the 82-year-old legend.

The rumors, which were swiftly debunked by Olu Jacobs’ family, prompted Yul to take to Instagram and express his admiration and appreciation of the iconic actor.

Yul Edochie described Olu Jacobs as one of the greatest actors in Africa, revealing that he had learned a great deal from working with him on set. He praised the veteran actor for his immense talent, dedication, and kindness, stating that he is “loved, respected, and appreciated” by all who know him.

In his heartfelt post, Yul Edochie prayed for more life, good health, joy, happiness, and blessings for Olu Jacobs, expressing his desire to work with him again on set. “More life to you Uncle @_olujacobs,” he wrote. “You remain one of the greatest actors in the continent of Africa. I learnt so much from you while working with you on set. You’re loved, respected and appreciated. May God give you more life, good health, joy, happiness and blessings. It would be a dream come true to have you on set again. Amen.”

This is not the first time Yul has publicly praised Olu Jacobs. In 2022, he joined numerous celebrities in celebrating the veteran actor’s 80th birthday, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to work with him and learn from his vast experience.
