For Chief Dr. Ugonna Osinachi Cliff Orabuchi, popularly known as Panteka, his father-in-law, Nze Mathias Nwafor Uzo Orakwute, was more than family.

The late Orkwute was more than a mentor, a friend, and a figure of deep respect to Orabuchi. As Orakwute passed away at age 72, Orabuchi chose to honor this remarkable relationship in a way that expressed their shared bond by selecting an extraordinary N130 million copper casket for his father-in-law’s final journey.

According to information , GWG.ng gathered that “Orabuchi’s care and support for his father-in-law extended through Orakwute’s life. Beyond financial provision, the billionaire built him an impressive home and made efforts to uplift those close to Orakwute, treating him with the reverence and care typically reserved for a beloved father figure. This unique bond drove Orabuchi’s choice of a premium casket—a mirror-finished, copper design with a velvet interior, one of the most prestigious models by Apams.”

Held in Oba, Idemili South LGA, Anambra State, the funeral attracted high-profile attendees and influential figures from Igboland, each honoring Orabuchi’s gesture. For Orabuchi, the choice of casket was a final act of love and respect, underscoring the bond he shared with Orakwute—a relationship he cherished deeply and celebrated publicly even in parting.
