A viral video featuring a female pastor requesting a church member to give away his new shoes has stirred intense debate and uproar on social media. The incident, described by many as “church trade by barter,” has drawn a mix of admiration, criticism, and outright disbelief.

The video shows the pastor addressing a young male pianist during a church service. She asked him to confirm whether the shoes he was wearing were the ones his father had recently brought from the UK. When he nodded, the pastor instructed him to give them away.

“You will give it out. Remove am. Who no like better thing? Remove am. God bless you,” she said, prompting the young man to take off the shoes and bring them to the front of the church.

As he handed over the shoes, the pastor prayed, “As you give it out, receive it,” to which the congregation responded with a loud “Amen.”

The pastor then called another male member of the congregation to try on the shoes, which happened to fit him perfectly. She proceeded to bless him, saying, “By wearing this shoe, God will change your destiny today. The superstar that gave the shoe will continue to shine and reign.” The congregation again echoed “Amen” as the recipient returned to his seat, wearing the gifted shoes.
