Social media celebrity, VeryDarkMan, VDM is trending after he weighed into the celebrity fight between High Fashion, HF owner, Rahman Jago and music superstar, Oritse Femi who was accused of wearing an allegedly pirated HF apparel.

The drama unfolded on social media after Oritse Femi posted a video of himself wearing a High Fashion singlet. Jago publicly called him out in the comment section, writing:
“Bro, stop wearing this terrible fake shit. C’mon.”

Jago also attempted to reach out privately through direct messages, but Oritse Femi did not respond.

Instead, the following day, Oritse Femi appeared in videos at Zlatan Ibile’s Zanku To The World (ZTTW) store, purchasing authentic designer clothing. Zlatan also shared the video and added his opinion, advising against publicly shaming anyone for wearing counterfeit items. This led fans to speculate that Jago may have lost Oritse Femi as a customer, with some interpreting Zlatan’s move as an effort to minimize the controversy.

Hours later, Jago responded with a cryptic post, stating: “God Pass Man,” while showcasing satisfied customers in his store.

Social media influencer VeryDarkMan (VDM) later joined the discussion, criticizing Zlatan’s actions. According to VDM, Zlatan had broken the “unwritten street brotherhood code” by accepting Oritse Femi as a customer after the fake HF incident.

VDM implied that Zlatan should have supported Jago instead of associating with Oritse Femi, considering the counterfeit controversy.

The incident sparked a flurry of opinions online, with fans divided over who was right.

One user, @SadoBlessing1, dismissed VDM’s involvement, saying:
“VDM just wan involve himself for this matter, cause I no understand Wetin bro dey talk.”

Another user, @Emuejevoke12, criticized VDM’s stance, writing:
“Why VDM nor reject Don Jazzy money because say him first dash Bobrisky money? VDM dey craze!”

Meanwhile, @Bigmanike1 defended Jago’s callout, arguing:
“It’s not an embarrassment. Imagine if someone pirated your source of livelihood—how would you feel?”

Others saw the situation differently, such as @kodakchrome_1, who questioned VDM’s perspective:
“So Zlatan suppose chase customer away because say he wear fake dress wey my friend dey sell the original? Naija I hail ooo.”

Some fans debated whether Zlatan’s actions were intentional or merely misunderstood. @Ovie4man commented:
“VDM never suggested the OG (Oritse Femi) should be rejected. He condemned Jago for publicly airing OG out and accused Zlatan of trying to play the good guy while making Jago look bad.”

The situation has turned into a larger conversation about friendship, business loyalty, and the consequences of publicly calling someone out. Whether this controversy will escalate or fade remains uncertain, but it has undoubtedly captured the internet’s attention.
