Akpabio, Kefas Condole With Namadi Over Loss Of Mother, Son
Senator Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate and Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State have extended heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar Namadi, over the tragic deaths of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi.
Akpabio expressed his sorrow in a condolence message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, and conveyed his deep sadness about the successive losses in the governor’s family.
“I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and your eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi, in a car crash,” Senator Akpabio said. He acknowledged the immense grief of losing both a mother and a son simultaneously, describing it as “a terrible experience.” He added, “My heart goes out to you and your entire family at this incredibly difficult time. As you navigate this dark period, remember that you are not alone. My family, constituents, and the 10th Senate share in your grief, and our thoughts are with you, your family, and Jigawa State.”
Senator Akpabio concluded his message by offering his deepest condolences and praying that the Almighty God grants the family the strength to bear the painful losses. He also prayed that the souls of Hajiya Maryam and Abdulwahab rest in Jannah Firdaus.
In a similar gesture, Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has also condoled with his Jigawa State counterpart, Alhaji Umar Namadi, over the heartbreaking loss of his son, Abdulwahab Namadi, and mother, Maryam Namadi. In his message, Governor Kefas described the tragedy as a “terrible loss” and prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed.
Governor Kefas also praised the life and legacy of Governor Namadi’s late mother, Hajiya Maryam. He said, “Governor Namadi may find solace in knowing that Mama lived long to witness the fruits of her great work in his life. Our mother left behind a legacy of fulfillment and the good character she bequeathed on her children and grandchildren.”
Kefas expressed his condolences to the people of Jigawa State for the loss of Abdulwahab Namadi, calling it “painfully tragic.” He offered prayers for the family, adding that he hoped the Almighty God would continue to comfort Governor Namadi, his family, and the people of Jigawa State during this incredibly difficult time.
