As news of 2Baba’s divorce from Annie Idibia continues to dominate conversations, cybernauts have unearthed old allegations surrounding the singer’s past relationship with Vien Tetsola, the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) 2000.

In a resurfaced Facebook post, a user identified as Bunmi Unique Ademoroti recalled how Vien Tetsola, dubbed the Millenium Queen allegedly risked her reign as MBGN over an alleged affair with the legendary musician. According to the post, Tetsola reportedly took 2Baba in and nursed him back to health following an accident while they were in a romantic relationship.

Ademoroti also recounted a controversial moment during that period when 2Baba, despite being involved with the beauty queen, declared on national television that he “never promised anyone marriage.” This statement, made during an interview on Morning Ride on NTA 2 Channel 5, reportedly stirred public reactions and allegedly led to Tetsola losing her MBGN crown.

The Facebook post reads:
“I am not surprised. I don’t know how many of us remember Vien Tetsola, MBGN 2000, who risked her reign because of 2Baba. It was on national TV, Morning Ride, on NTA 2 Channel 5, where he said, and I quote, ‘I no promise anyone marriage oooo.’ She would’ve been his first baby mama.

She took him in when he had an accident and nursed him to health because they were dating. She didn’t care it could mess up her reign as MBGN 2000 Queen. That hit hard and scared me about love, and it also made me insist on spelling out relationships.”
