Nedu Serves VeryDarkMan Legal Notice Over Defamation Claims (Video)

Popular media personality Nedu Wazobia has taken legal steps against social media critic VeryDarkMan over alleged defamatory statements.

VeryDarkMan shared the news on his Instagram page, revealing that he had received a pre-action notice from Nedu’s lawyers.

According to the legal representatives of Nedu and Tokindrumz Picture and Media Ltd, a 12-minute video posted by VeryDarkMan on YouTube and Instagram on February 19, 2025, contained several “defamatory, false, and disparaging attacks” against their clients.

The video, titled “How Nedu Diverted NGO Scholarship Meant for Nigerians”, was described as untrue by Nedu’s lawyers. They also clarified that Nedu is not the owner of Tokindrumz but only a talent managed by the brand.

The legal notice demanded that VeryDarkMan delete all videos involving Nedu from his platforms within 24 hours, issue a public apology, and pay N500 million as compensation for the alleged damage to Nedu’s reputation.

They warned that failure to meet these demands would lead to legal action.

In response, VeryDarkMan acknowledged the notice in a video on his Instagram page and informed his followers about the upcoming legal battle.

“Nedu’s lawyers have served me o, so make una get ready for court case,” he said.
