Tragedy As Lovers Die After Inhaling Generator Fumes

A man and his female lover, identified simply as Peace, have been found dead after reportedly inhaling toxic fumes from a power generator in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The tragic incident occurred on Saturday at Port Harcourt Township, where the couple had left a generator running overnight in a passage near their room.
Concern grew among their co-tenants the following morning when neither of them emerged from their room. Sensing something was wrong, neighbors forced the door open, only to discover the lifeless bodies of the lovers.
A local resident, Chima, revealed that some neighbors immediately reported the incident to the Central Police Station.
Confirming the development, the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, Superintendent Grace Iringe-Koko, stated that preliminary investigations suggest the couple may have died from inhaling generator fumes.
