Leicester Break Transfer Record For Tielemans.

Wilfred Ndidi’s Leicester City have splashed £40m on Youri Tielemans on a permanent deal, the club confirmed via an official statement.

The 22-year-old Belgian on the back of an impressive half season loan spell with the Foxes where he scored three goals and contributed four assists has signed a four-year contract with the club.

Tielemans on why he joined the clubs amidst interest from other top clubs said “ I believe we the talent I our squad to achieve something special, that’s an exciting thing to be part of. I really can’t wait to get started again with this club and do everything I can to help my teammates.

“It is such a great feeling to sign for this Football Club. Ever since I arrived on loan last season, all the players, the staff and the fans have been fantastic with me, so I’m thrilled to be able to become a Leicester City player.

Youri Tielemans is the third major signing for Leicester after making a statement by paying more than £30m for Ayoze Perez and full-back James Justin for an undisclosed fee.
