Court Returns Gaidom As National Chair Of APC

Chief Victor Giadom is to act as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC until a court of competent jurisdiction or the National Executive Committee, NEC of the party rules otherwise, an Abuja Federal High Court has ruled.

Justice S. U. Bature of the FCT High Court has also directed the National Vice Chairman of the party, Alhaji Salihu Mustapha to act as the National Secretary of the party pending the determination of the substantive motion as filed before the court.

In the two orders obtained by GWG, the APC was restrained from preventing Giadom from performing or continuing to act as the national chairman of the party.

The court orders inevitably sinks the bid by the Senator Abiola Ajimobi led tendency working through the national vice chairman, Hilliard Etta to take the leadership of the party.
