Katsina Attack: Aisha Yesufu, Others Taunt Buhari

Emergency and crisis situations like the abduction of a yet to be ascertained number of students from the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State normally lead to the leaders of countries addressing their citizens.
However, that rule has been observed more in the breach in Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari with the president regularly being pushed to speak at times of national emergency.
With the latest large scale abduction of citizens happening right under his nose, some Nigerians have again taken to social media to nudge the president to speak.
That is despite the swift word of condemnation of the president expressed through his spokesman, Garba Shehu once the news of the incident came out.
The latest push on Buhari is being propelled by civil rights activist, Aisha Yesufu who came out on twitter to call out the president on the issue.
She said:
She was swiftly followed by a number of other social media users who called out the president to speak to the nation on the latest crisis under his watch.
