Cheers, Jeers, As Nigerian Chelsea Fans Hold Thanksgiving Service (Video)

Mixed reactions have trailed a Church thanksgiving service held in Nigeria by some Chelsea fans to mark the English club’s triumph in the European Champions League final on Saturday.

Chelsea won the trophy for the second time in the annals of the competition after the first victory in 2012.

The Chelsea fans in a location that was not made known gathered to celebrate the win with ladies, men lofting a Chelsea FC banner and dancing to celebrate the 2021 Champions League triumph.

While a number of people flayed the Chelsea fans as unserious, the critics implied that such conduct showed why the Muhammadu Buhari government would not take Nigerians as serious in their agitations against the government.
