Mr Ibu Discharged From Hospital After Being Poisoned

Nollywood comic actor John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu, has been discharged from the hospital days after he revealed to reporters that he was poisoned at an entertainment event in Abuja.
In the video posted on Tiktok, Mr Ibu could be seen walking out of the hospital with his wife hale and hearty.

Green White Green reported that the actor had earlier confirmed that he was getting better.
He said:
“I am recuperating, although I have neither walked out nor driven since I got ill. However, I intend to take a walk this (Friday) evening, because I am hopeful that I would get better. I am eating well now, and I’m prepared to go back on set any moment from now,”

Mr Ibu has survived three poisoning in three years.

Meanwhile, the news that Mr Ibu has been discharged from hospital after reportedly being poisoned came as Inetimi Odon better known by his stage name Timaya issued a stern warning to music executive, Ubi Franklin.

The Bayelsa born singer didn’t specify what transpired between himself and Ubi. However from the threat in his tweet, it is clear that the duo had been enduring bad blood between them for some time.

Timaya reminded Ubi of how he had beaten him up last year and advised him to tread with caution to avoid another round of beating from him.

He wrote:

“Ubi Franklin u remember the beating I gave u in January last year? Don’t let me beat u again, and pls I like your new job. As Ifeanyi’s NANI and pls don’t mess it up. DAvido is a good guy he can make ur life. Pls focus on ur new job. Thanks,”
