NBA: Adamu Garba Slammed After Making Excuses For Tinubu’s Absence

Former All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has received massive backlash after an attempt to defend the absence of the party’s flag bearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, 62nd conference.

GWG reports that Tinubu was represented by the party’s vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi were present at the event.

Tinubu’s absence from the event that took place in his city, generated massive backlash for the former Lagos State Governor.

However, reacting to the development, via Twitter, Garba said that Tinubu has shown that he would not run a megalomaniac leadership.

According to Adamu Garba, Tinubu plans on running an inclusive leadership.

He explained that the APC presidential candidate does not plan on burying Shettima or keeping him hidden and instead plans on including him in running the affairs of the country.

He wrote: “Tinubu absent, Tinubu absent. You guys don’t understand the true meaning of inclusive leadership.

“Unlike others, Tinubu clearly shows that he’s not planning to be a megalomaniac leader who should bury his Vice just to be everywhere, he trusts @KashimSM to deliver. No vacuum at all.”

Reacting to his tweet, Nigerians blasted Adamu Garba stating that Tinubu shunned the event because he was not fit enough.
