Critics Mock, Obidients Cheer As Peter Obi Begins USA, European Tour

Critics mocked on Thursday, but supporters cheered as Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi embarked on a four nation European trip that is also expected to take him to America and see him engage with Nigerians in the diaspora.

The trip which is underway has particularly drawn flaks from his critics who accused him of bandying fictitious data.

However, the assertions were immediately rebuffed by the enthusiastic supporters of Peter Obi home and abroad wishing him good wishes in his travels.

Obi announced his move on his twitter handle on Thursday morning.

He said:

En route to the U.S.A, I’ll make a pit stop in Germany to interact with Nigerians in Germany. I hold Nigerians in Diaspora in very high esteem; they represent the core of our human development capital and contribute immensely to nation building via remittances and technical knowledge transfer. My present outing will take me to Germany, Italy, Canada & the U.S.A. I look forward to the very constructive engagements -PO

Replying with scorn, Lekan while mocking Peter Obi on his European trip said:
