Another disturbing video capturing students of Lead British International School, Abuja, testifying about teachers watching on while students are bullied in the school every day, has gone viral.

In the video which was posted by X User, Chude Nnamdi, on his X handle, three female students were seen quaking while they narrated their ordeal to their interviewer in confidence.

They said, “Some teachers were watching them and didn’t do anything. The bullying happens every day. There was one time they poured cold water on us.”

When asked if they reported to the school authorities, they replied in the affirmative, explaining that the teachers don’t do anything when the bullies give them money, “Yes, if they give them money, they will not talk.”

GWG.ng reports that this video is coming up after students of Lead British International School, Maryam and her crew, were seen bullying another student, Namtira.

The school had faced criticism for not doing enough to address the issue of bullying which sparked an outrage that led to a final shut down of the school by the Nigerian government.

While Nigerians are calling for justice to be served and for the school to put effective measures to stem the repetitive evil tide of bullying, the school’s reputation is at stake, as parents are worried about the safety and well-being of their children.
