Bandits Invade Gusau, Abduct Bank Manager

A gang of bandits early on Tuesday invaded Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, and abducted Mallam Mansur Kaura, the manager of Taj Bank’s Gusau branch, from his residence.

GWG.ng gathered that the bandits stormed the banker’s residence at about 12:30 am and kidnapped him.

The terrorists, armed with sophisticated weapons, unleashed chaos by firing sporadically to intimidate residents before targeting the manager’s residence for theabduction.

Additionally, reports indicate that the bandits instilled fear in other areas such as Mareri, Damba, Tsauni, and Samaru within the state capital before making their getaway.

Despite the alarming incident, security authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the latest attack by the bandits.
