Father Of Former Nasarawa Attorney General Killed By Kidnappers After Rejecting Ransom For His Freedom

The father of the former Attorney General of Nasarawa State, Comrade Daniel Umaru Lagi, who was kidnapped last week, has reportedly been killed by his abductors.

Comrade Lagi was kidnapped on May 28th and is alleged to have been killed because he refused to allow a ransom to be paid for his release.

His body has been deposited in a hospital in the Akwanga Local Government Area.

According to sources, one suspect has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping, while military personnel are actively searching the area for the remaining suspects.

Efforts to obtain a response from the police were unsuccessful, as calls and text messages to the police command spokesman, DSP Ranham Nansel, were not immediately answered at the time of reporting.
