Fans Wowed As Wizkid Praises Don Jazzy As “Amazing” Following Social Media Fallout

Nigerian Afrobeats artist Wizkid has praised veteran music producer and executive Don Jazzy, highlighting his admirable qualities.

This commendation comes in the wake of an initial disagreement between them on social media.

Wizkid had previously criticized Don Jazzy after his artiste Ladipoe appeared to mock Wizkid’s statement about the state of hip hop.

Wizkid wrote: “Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”

Responding to a fan’s alert about the post, Wizkid humorously indicated he wouldn’t engage with artistes signed to influencers, prompting speculation about Don Jazzy’s status.

This led Don Jazzy to unfollow Wizkid on Instagram.

Despite this, it seems the tension has eased, with Don Jazzy acknowledging Wizkid’s support for his artiste, Ayra Starr’s album.

In a gesture of reconciliation, Wizkid took to his social media on Thursday to publicly praise Don Jazzy, calling him an “amazing human.”

He wrote, “Don jazzy! Amazing human! [Love and eagle emojis].”

This display of mutual respect suggests that any prior disagreements between them may have been resolved.
