Israeli Prime Minister Condemns Assassination Attempt on Donald Trump (Video)

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed his shock and outrage over the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump. In a statement posted on X, Netanyahu emphasized that the attack was not only a threat to Trump’s life but also an assault on American democracy and democratic values worldwide.

Netanyahu’s statement read: “My wife Sara and I, like all Israelis, were appalled by the heinous attempt on President Donald Trump’s life. This was not just an attack on Donald Trump, but on the very fabric of American democracy. It was an attack on the United States, on democracy, and on the values that underpin our free societies.”

“On behalf of myself, my family, the Government and the people of Israel, we wish President Trump a speedy recovery, continued good health and continued strength.”

The attempted assassination occurred during Trump’s campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a 20-year-old individual attempted to harm the former President.
