Tinubu return trip China UK

President Bola Tinubu is set to return to Abuja on Sunday following a two-week tour that took him to UAE, China and the United Kingdom (UK).

The news of his return was shared by Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special adviser on information and strategy, in a statement released on Saturday.

Tinubu embarked on his journey from Abuja on August 29, initially stopping in Dubai before reaching Beijing on September 1.

While in China, he held a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. During their discussions, both leaders signed five memoranda of understanding (MoU) between Nigeria and China. These agreements covered key areas such as trade, infrastructure development, media partnerships, and security enhancements.

President Tinubu also expressed his intention to bring China’s infrastructure development model to Nigeria.

After concluding his visit to China, he traveled to London, where he had a meeting with King Charles III. According to Olusegun Dada, the president’s new media aide, their discussions centered on climate change and efforts to address it.
