Man United,Chelsea Draw Amid Tense Moments
Manchester United and Chelsea ended their Premier League match in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on November 3, 2024.
The hard-fought game saw both sides struggle to capitalize on opportunities, with each team only finding the back of the net once.
The deadlock held through a tightly contested first half. Manchester United came close when Marcus Rashford hit the crossbar right before halftime, missing a chance to give his team the lead.

In the second half, Manchester United finally broke through in the 70th minute. Rasmus Højlund drew a foul from Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez, resulting in a penalty. Bruno Fernandes converted the spot-kick, placing the ball into the bottom left corner, putting Manchester United up 1-0.
Chelsea responded quickly, leveling the score in the 74th minute. Moisés Caicedo netted a right-footed shot following a corner, tying the game 1-1. Despite attempts from both teams to secure a winner, the match remained a stalemate until the final whistle.
The match featured intense play and saw several yellow cards issued, including cautions for Manchester United’s Lisandro Martínez, Amad Diallo, and Casemiro, and for Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson. Both sides fought hard, but the score remained locked, leaving the teams to share the points in front of over 73,000 fans at Old Trafford.
