Nedu’s exit from The Honest Bunch Podcast has reignited drama as Lucky Udu’s voice note surfaces, exposing how Nedu once dismissed his plea for fairness.

The ongoing controversy involving media personalities VeryDarkMan, Nedu, and comedian DeeOne has taken another turn with the emergence of a voice note from Lucky Udu, in which he detailed his disappointment with Nedu following a past dispute with GehGeh.

The revelations come amid Nedu’s resignation from ‘The Honest Bunch Podcast’, raising the question of whether his current predicament is a result of karma.

In a released voice note played by VeryDarkMan, Lucky Udu explained how he reached out to Nedu for an opportunity to appear on ‘The Honest Bunch Podcast’ after GehGeh made damaging statements about his brand. GehGeh had previously dismissed Udu’s work, claiming that he “only celebrates failure.” According to Udu, this public remark had severe consequences, leading to significant losses in brand endorsements, opportunities, and contracts.

“I reached out to Nedu when my brand was taking a hit from GehGeh’s statement. I thought he would understand and give me a fair chance to clear my name,” Udu stated.

However, to Udu’s shock, Nedu allegedly dismissed him, claiming he had never heard of him before. “He told me bluntly that he didn’t know me, that he had never heard of my brand before my manager reached out,” Udu said. He further expressed his disappointment, stating that Nedu was unfriendly during their conversation and seemed to side with GehGeh’s perspective.

After some back and forth, Nedu eventually agreed to have Lucky Udu on the podcast, but under one condition—GehGeh had to be present as well. Udu perceived this as an attempt to stir up controversy rather than provide a platform for fair dialogue.

“Nedu told me that if I wanted to come on ‘The Honest Bunch’, GehGeh would have to be there too. He asked me to get the available flight to Lagos, but I knew what he was trying to do. It was never about fairness—it was about creating social media drama,” Udu explained.

Realizing the potential for further damage to his reputation, Udu declined the invitation. He also revealed that Nedu warned him not to disclose the details of their conversation to anyone.

Fast forward to the present, and Nedu finds himself at the center of controversy, eventually stepping down from his role on ‘The Honest Bunch Podcast’. The backlash from his recent feud with VeryDarkMan and DeeOne has intensified, leading many to speculate whether this is a case of karma catching up with him.

Some social media users argue that Nedu’s handling of Lucky Udu’s case was unfair and dismissive, contributing to the decline of another person’s career. Now that he is facing scrutiny and backlash himself, many see it as a form of poetic justice.

While it remains unclear if Nedu’s resignation is directly linked to his past actions, the unfolding drama serves as a reminder of the long-term impact of public statements and industry relationships. As the debate continues, one question lingers: Is Nedu now experiencing the same disregard he once showed to others?

The saga between these media personalities is far from over, and the industry will be watching closely to see what unfolds next.
