Man Disguised As Mad Nabbed With Phones, ATM Card

A young man, identified as Tosin Moshood, has been apprehended in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, after allegedly disguising himself as a mentally unstable person while in possession of suspicious items.
According to reports by Ijebu Rewa, Moshood was spotted acting like a madman under a bridge in Ijebu Ode in the early hours of Wednesday, March 26, 2025. However, upon closer inspection, locals discovered he had a Samsung S9 Ultra, an Itel phone, an original motorcycle document belonging to one Mr. Biliaminu Tukur, an ATM card, and a charm.
His cover was blown when concerned residents confronted him, leading to his arrest. He was first handed over to the Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, Atiba, before being transferred to the Nigerian Police Force, Odogbolu Division, for further investigation.
The incident has created reactions, with many expressing concerns over criminals using deceptive tactics to evade detection. Security agencies are yet to release an official statement on the suspect’s arrest.
