Video: Shock At Celebrity Wedding As Man Hangs On Helicopter Mid-Air
By Benjamin Abioye

A man shocked wedding guests in Kenya by dangerously hanging onto a helicopter mid-air during Prince Indah’s traditional ceremony.
What began as a beautiful day of song, dance, and celebration in Migori County, Kenya, turned into a moment of collective disbelief and concern. The air was thick with excitement as celebrated Ohangla musician Prince Indah, known off-stage as Evance Ochieng’, marked his traditional wedding with pomp and culture.
The event was grand—full of traditional music, hearty meals, and a parade of celebrities, all gathered to witness the artist’s special day.
But just when the rhythm of festivity reached its peak, an unexpected act stunned the crowd. As YouTuber Oga Obinna’s helicopter prepared to take off, a man broke through the crowd and attempted to confront the pilot. Though security personnel quickly intervened and removed him, he returned with a shocking move—gripping the chopper’s landing gear just as it began to ascend.
The man clung to the aircraft, dangerously suspended in the air as it lifted above the astonished onlookers. Moments later, he was dropped onto a nearby farm, weak and visibly shaken. Locals rushed to his aid, but the damage was already done—online and offline outrage erupted almost instantly.
“This is the highest degree of stupidity I have ever witnessed,” said Justus Oboso, reacting to the viral footage.
Shosh Mel Trinity didn’t hold back either: “He should be arrested and punished for risking his life. Life is precious; why play with it?”
Others questioned the breach of security. “How do security guys allow people to be that close?” asked Reti Ben. “Do they know what could happen if things go wrong?”
The backlash continued.
“What if he had died?” Denis Ndirangu wondered aloud. “People are willing to do stupid things just to trend.”
Erastus Kamau added, “What does that kind of stupidity have to do with courage? That’s utter nonsense.”
Some speculated about deeper issues. “That’s not bravery. That’s hunger,” said Jakim Okoth, while Prince Yusuf Chiwaya noted, “Only people with mental health issues can decide to do that.”
Meanwhile, the wedding ceremony carried on with flair. Prince Indah’s entrance was marked by a majestic convoy of black and silver SUVs winding through Migori’s dusty roads. The procession caused a massive traffic jam, with villagers flooding the route to catch a glimpse of the Ohangla star.
The air may have cleared, but the dust raised—both on the road and in the public’s mind—has not yet settled. Kenyans continue to debate the reckless stunt, with many urging authorities to investigate the incident and prevent such dangerous acts in the future.
