Police Search For Family Of Baby Abandoned In Hotel

The Adamawa State Police are looking for information about a child who was abandoned at a hotel in Demsa Local Government Area.

The baby girl was left at the reception of Peoples Hotel in Nasarawa Demsa by an unknown woman.

The police have taken the child into their custody and are asking the public for help in locating her family.

SP Suleiman Nguroje, the Police Public Relations Officer, said on Wednesday that the mother told hotel staff she was going to get food for the baby but never returned. Concerned, the hotel staff contacted the police.

The police are now asking anyone with information to come forward. “Any useful information that will aid in tracing the child’s parents or relatives will be appreciated,” Nguroje said.
