Nigerians React As Gunmen Kill 16 From Kano LGA

With Nigerians yet to recover from the emotional trauma caused by the beheading of at least 43 compatriots a fortnight ago, news of the slaughter of 16 persons from one community in Kano State is again further aggravating Nigerians.
The incident according to reports happened on Wednesday along the Kaduna – Abuja highway.
All the victims were from Dambatta in Kano State.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje was among the first to lament the killing.
A Twitter user, simply identified as Daboon Dambazau, stated this on his Twitter page as he prayed for the repose of the souls.
He wrote: “Dambatta lost 16 sons yesterday on the Abuja‐Kaduna highway as a result of attack by unknown gunmen. May Allah forgive their shortcomings and reward their good deeds. May He punish the perpetrators of this senseless acts. #SecureNorth.”
