Popular crossdresser and social media influencer, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has turned to spirituality as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) launches an investigation into allegations that he paid N15 million to some of its operatives to drop money laundering charges.
Bobrisky, who has been at the center of a heated controversy with social media influencer, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, decided to go spiritual as he took to his Instagram account to post a series of Bible verses. In the post, Bobrisky shared scriptures from 2 Thessalonians 3:3, Psalm 46:1, and Deuteronomy 31:6, emphasizing God’s protection and strength. The verses read:
“But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.”
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
“Be strong and courageous.”
The spiritual bent by Bobrisky came after he was accused of bribing EFCC operatives with N15 million to drop charges related to money laundering. VeryDarkMan, a popular social media influencer, released a viral audio clip alleging that Bobrisky had confessed to paying the bribe to the anti-graft agency.
