“The convict, Vivian aka Venza had earlier this year recruited three girls between ages 15 and 18 from Cross river state to Benin, under the guise of working in her large restaurant. She later forced the girls into prostitution.
“But three girls also made plans and escaped from her custody at night and were found by members of the Federal Road Safety Corps.”
She said that the convict was sentenced under section 13 of the Naptip Act.And noted that the command was not relenting on its drive to address its mandate even under the current global pandemic.
On her part, the convict said she regretted her actions, urging others not to indulge in such practice.
