Edo Lawmaker Regains Freedom After Kidnap

Hon. Israel Inyanabor, a lawmaker in Ewohimi, Esan South Local Government Area of Edo State has regained his freedom after days in the captivity of kidnappers.

He regained his freedom alongside a primary school teacher, Mr. Paul Aluola who with his wife were also were also kidnapped by notorious kidnappers operating along Ewatto-Okhuessan-Ubiaja Road in the Local Government Area.

Mr. Iyanabor, who represents Ward One in Ewohimi South Local Government Area GWG gathered was released on Saturday. He is reportedly hale and hearty after the traumatic experience.

Mr. Aluola who is the head teacher at Iriwa Primary school, Ohordua in Esan South East local government area of the state and his wife, a trader were also released after they were kidnapped some days ago.

GWG cannot confirm if they paid any ransom for their freedom.

However, stakeholders have continued to bemoan the spate of insecurity in the locality.
